What is the size of a cup "of coffee?
Wikipedia says it is 6 oz but my Mr Coffee is calibrated in five ounces "cups" and my Braun coffee machine is calibrated in 4.2 Oz "cups". This is all rather irrelevant because most people drink coffee in cups which are 12 ounces or more, but it's annoying. It must be very confusing for some people.
I cup '12 'U.S. has coffee. I make 8 cups of coffee and get 2.5 cups of coffee out of it. I measured the cups once and they are only 4 ounces, which means when I have company, I am constantly having to do another pot of coffee. I hope the Clandestino wakes up on the fact that most of we drink more than 4 oz of coffee at a time!
